So, this morning I got out of bed and trod on some broken glass :(

The offending item, once removed from my foot, is photographed below:

When removed from my foot, blood practically poured out of the hole, leaving a mini-puddle on the floor.

It took quick wits, otherwise known as putting hand over hole, to stop the bleeding.

Note the red patches on the top edge of the glass. This is real blood from my foot!

Ever since I moved into my new flat, a server has been taking a picture out of my back window every 60 seconds.

FlatView was released shortly after I moved in, offering pseudo-realtime access to the data.

Every picture taken has been saved, and converted into a video!

This contains the last 60 days of data, as this is roughly how long I have been living at my new flat.

I have found the sunrise, sunset and night time to be the most interesting times.

Ok, for ages I’ve been planning on doing something like this.

I now have a webcam setup watching out of one of my flat windows. Every minute, it takes a picture.

I will eventually be converting these images into daily “Videos” of what is happening outside, but for the moment, the “Current” image is available at FlatView.

I blame Hamlesh for suggesting this while we were in the pub earlier!

Unfortunately, I don’t think he will ever forgive me for this… Maybe he really does fancy Chrissy?

So, last night I was jointing a rabbit.

This basically involves cutting through the flesh and bones of the rabbit (spine etc) and is fairly hard work.

Once I had finished jointing it, I left it out on the surface while I ate some chinese.

Unfortunatly, one of my flatmates came back, went into the kitchen, and saw the slabs of meat, and lots of blood.

First Question:

Please tell me that’s not blood.

Me:

It’s not blood

Her:

You’re lieing, arn’t you?

Me:

Yes.

Oops :-p

Well, I just called Argos.

Their response was quick and efficient, and the problem was resolved.

They don’t have any in stock for a delivery; but they will replace or refund the chair.

Since I would prefer to actually have a chair, I can apparantly take it in to any store, and they will replace it if they have stock, or they will refund me the price of the chair.

It’s annoying that the chair broke, but they resolved it quickly and painfully.

On 17th October, I had a chair delivered from Argos.Today, 7 days later, the chair has broken.

I have used it, at most, for an hour per day, for light use while using the computer. The rest of the chair, apart from the broken arm, is in perfect condition.

Tomorrow, I shall be calling them to get it replaced. Now, what am I supposed to do for a chair until they do?
