The latest models of cell phones are manufactured by using the advanced technology, having multiple advanced features. The size of desktop computer is greater than the notebook or laptops. The home theater systems of the branded manufacturers are more valuable rather than the ordinary one. The personal digital assistant, pda is manufactured to provide full facility to use handheld sets of computers everywhere easily. The multi-functional printers are introduced by the different manufacturers. The ringtones of various cell phone companies are very funny to entertain the cell phone consumers.

Deadlines

Monday, November 27th, 2006

In the wonderful land of #php, we were discussing the issue of being given 0 marks if you miss a deadline.

The conclusion was that this would be a good thing.

Those who didn’t like the idea (clearly, mentioning s|k’s nick here would be unfair) used the main arguement that it would be “unfair” to give someone 0 for late work, because if they continually handed in late work, they may fail the course..

Don’t you think that things would be run more efficiently if people actually stuck to deadlines. Imagine if, when at school, you had always been given 0 for late work. Would you ever hand in late work?

Just think, if everyone was brought up to value and adhere to deadlines, the world would run much more smoothly.

Boris!

Sunday, November 26th, 2006

For more information about him, please see:

On thursday, I went to see him speak and answer questions on – it seemed like – general politics.

Boris is one of the few politicians who actually makes sense. When he spoke, he covered at least the following topics:

  • Political correctness
  • The legal system
  • The education system

He probably covered more topics, but did so in a subverted way.

He is a very entertaining speaker, and manages to talk at length without being boring; something that the majority of politicians find hard.

If only every politician was like Boris and shared his views, the country might pick up a little bit \o/

Imperial College London votes YES to join the NUS.

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

In a referendum that broke all previous records, the Members of Imperial College Union decided that ICU should affiliate to the National Union of Students.

The Imperial College Union home page now mocks all their sensible students with a nice big (and wet lefty pink) sign saying that “you voted to join the NUS”:

NUS Result

For the record, I would like to point out that I DID NOT vote in favour of Imperial joining the NUS.

Silly online test about “The keys to my heart”

Silly Heart

You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free.

In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you’re told that you’re loved.

You’d like to your lover to think you are stylish and alluring.

You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please.

Your ideal relationship is open. Both of you can talk about everything… no secrets.

Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment.

You think of marriage as something precious. You’ll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred.

In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You’ll do anything for love, but you won’t fall for it easily.
